The carnival procession starts at 5pm.

The carnival starts at the top of The Bourne (Old Market Cross), proceeds down All Saints Street, turns right onto the seafront (seaward side) goes round Pelham fountain and returns along the seafront (landward side), turns left into High Street, up High Street, before coming to an end in the Bourne.
