Our recently restored Victorian park has its own bowling green, boating lake, bandstand, Nature Reserve and War Memorial.
Hastings Country Park
This spectacular 550 acre clifftop site rivals Beachy Head for its views over the English Channel and was recently featured in the BBC's Coast.
Hastings Cemetery
Overlooking an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this timeless and beautiful site was most recently used in the acclaimed Dora Bryan short 'Gone to the Dogs'.

Coast
Tourist Beach
Our Blue Flag beach attracts huge numbers of people from around the world and is available for filming throughout the year.
Europe's Largest Beach-Launched Fishing Fleet
Known locally as 'The Stade', this remarkable part of the town has been used in countless fashion shoots, drama series and feature films. It has also been used several times for the CITV show Art Attack!
The Lifeboat Station
Based at the Stade, the station is home to an all-weather lifeboat, inshore lifeboat (or inflatable), launching tractors and a visitor centre complete with a viewing balcony.
Buildings
Burtons St Leonards
A unique example of a Regency new town with many buildings still standing from 1828.
St Mary in the Castle
A lavishly restored Georgian church with its own crypt and a massive circular auditorium.
Marine Court
A remarkable 'ship-shaped' building!
Hastings Old Town
An old fishing village with narrow passages and hidden paths. Recently seen being bombed at night in Foyle's War. Also the subject of its own Ghost Walk which has been featured on Living TV's Most Haunted!
East Hill Lift
The UK's steepest funicular railway has been used in numerous productions - most recently for Phil and Kirsty in Channel Four's Location Location Location!
West Hill Lift
Used recently in National Geographic Channel's 'Seconds From Disaster' where we closed off the tunnel and filled it with stuntmen and smoke to recreate the Kuprun ski-lift disaster. Also featured in the acclaimed short film 'The Glow' which needed a full closure of the lift and control of its mechanisms for a day.
Hastings Castle Ruins
We often get Location Managers enquiring about the castle and not realising that it's actually the ruins of a castle! See the remains of the first castle to be built in England by William the Conqueror for yourself...
